Sunnyview's admissions staff carefully screens each individual patient to determine the level and appropriateness of intensive inpatient rehabilitation. Patients must be motivated and able to withstand the rigorous nature of three hours of physical, occupational, speech and psychological therapy daily.

Sunnyview is the area's most extensive rehabilitation hospital-acute and subacute-for people of all ages. The hospital runs an active brain injury unit (including stroke), as well as designated units for cardiac and pulmonary patients.
