Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital FoundationFounded in 1984, the Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation raises charitable support for Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. The generosity of others has enabled the Foundation to fulfill its commitment to the hospital and its patients. Charitable gifts have enhanced valuable patient care programs, purchased state-of-the-art equipment, and supported facility renovations and capital purchases.
Every gift is important to our success. With your support, we can continue to build for the future, together. The Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation encourages you to use us as a resource to find a way to make contributions that are meaningful to you.
You can now make a donation online using your MasterCard or Visa. Contributions to the Sunnyview Hospital and Rehabilitation Center Foundation, Inc., a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible by law. Our Federal ID Number is 22-2505127.
Many donors generously make a commitment to Sunnyview and allow the Foundation to direct their contribution to the hospital's most urgent needs. These unrestricted gifts allow Sunnyview flexibility during these times of an ever-changing health care environment.
These gifts are donations directed to benefit a specific department or purpose, such as the treatment of a specific health problem or for the education and training of health professionals. Restricted gifts often reflect the personal interests of the donor.
You can often increase the tax savings your gift makes possible by contributing appreciated property, such as securities or real estate holdings.
Sunnyview can often use in-kind contributions, such as computers, office equipment, copy and fax machines, recreational games and other tangible items. Foundation staff will work with hospital departments to determine if there is a need for such items.
The Foundation can suggest ways to include charitable donations in your tax and estate planning. This may include naming Sunnyview in your will or as beneficiary of an insurance policy. The Sunnyview Legacy Society gives special recognition to those who have made planned gifts to Sunnyview.
A memorial gift serves as a lasting tribute to a friend or loved one. Surviving family members receives personal notification of this thoughtful remembrance. A tribute gift can be the perfect solution to the person who has everything, to say "thank you" to honor a special health professional, or to acknowledge a special event such as a birth or an anniversary.
Sunnyview volunteers contribute countless hours of time, caring and expertise for the benefit of the hospital's patients. Many opportunities exist to work with patients and hospital departments, including adult and junior volunteers. For further information, please contact Sunnyview's Volunteer Office at 518-382-3631.
